Farewell to YBhg Tan Sri Hassan Merican ! I have classed him as an "International Corporate Icon". A person of his stature is deserved to be a 'Tun'. In his 15-year service, he had put Petronas Group into phenomenal heights, quantum leap our nation's progress and remained as the constant contributor in fulfilling the Rakyat's needs.
I am still proud to be given the chance by my former superior, YBhg Tan Sri Rashid Hussain, Founder of the RHB Banking Group to assist YBhg Tan Sri Hassan to list Petronas Dagangan on Bursa Malaysia and to look into the possibility of acquiring PT Medco Engineering (Indonesia's 2nd Oil & Gas Company after Pertamina).
